Road Runner Mobile Food Pantry is this Friday, 4/16

TIMBERON DISTRIBUTION IS ON THE 3RD FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH

Line up begins at 12:30 pm at the Timberon Lodge Parking Lot

Distribution begins once we have all of the boxes sorted and ready

Next Distribution is on Friday April 16th, 2021

If you arrive to line up before noon, please park to the side of the road (where the sign up tent was previously), not forward of the park bathrooms, and line up down Merlin. We need to leave room for the Roadrunner truck to be able to turn around and unload and allow access to the Lodge and playground area. There will be someone from the Neighborhood Watch directing traffic, please pay attention to where they ask to you park and line up while waiting. Once distribution begins you will then be directed to pull forward to the signs-in tent. Anyone arriving after the distribution begins will need to make sure they pull in at the end of the line.

Distribution goes fairly fast once it begins, and is usually over in about 30-45 minutes, or once all of the food is gone.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

We could not do this without all of our amazing volunteers! If you are able to volunteer we always need an extra hand, especially during set up and breakdown. Many may not realize that even once the last box has been loaded we still have several more hours of work to get everything put away and we are in need of a few extra volunteers to help get everything broke down and put away back at the pantry.

Day of Road Runner Schedule:

9am – 10:30am: Set-up

11am – 1pm: Sorting, boxing & distribution

1pm – 3pm: Breakdown & put away back at pantry

Weekly Food Pantry

We will also have our weekly Food Pantry this Saturday, 4/17 from 10am – 11am @ 170 Chaucer Dr, for those that need food.
