Road Runner Mobile Food Pantry
TIMBERON DISTRIBUTION IS ON THE 3RD FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH
Line up begins at 12:30 pm at the Timberon Lodge Parking Lot
Distribution begins once we have all of the boxes sorted and ready
Next Distribution is on Friday April 16th, 2021
We are moving the sign-in tent closer to the distribution tents to allow for faster line movement.
If you arrive to line up before noon, please park to the side of the road (where the sign up tent was previously), not forward of the park bathrooms, and line up down Merlin. We need to leave room for the Roadrunner truck to be able to turn around and unload and allow access to the Lodge and playground area. There will be someone from the Neighborhood Watch directing traffic, please pay attention to where they ask to you park and line up while waiting. Once distribution begins you will then be directed to pull forward to the signs-in tent. Anyone arriving after the distribution begins will need to make sure they pull in at the end of the line.
Distribution goes fairly fast once it begins, and is usually over in about 30-45 minutes, or once all of the food is gone.
Thank you for your corporation in being able to facilitate a smooth event.
***WINTER STORM UPDATES***
Please keep an eye on our website & Facebook page for any last minute changes to the Roadrunner distribution due to winter storms!
Due to current COVID restrictions boxes are pre-packed and are on a first come, first serve basis.
We are currently preparing for 75 households each month.
We want to be able to provide food to as many households that are in need as possible. For those that qualify for Roadrunner boxes, there is only ONE roadrunner box PER household allowed by Roadrunner. Not per adult in the same home. Please be considerate so that we can help as many as possible.
When coming to the distribution, please have a spot prepared in your vehicle for your food.
There is usually dairy and frozen items plus a large box of veggies and non-perishables.
Because it is getting too costly to have to purchase boxes each month and only have a handful come back, we are changing up how you get your food. We will have everything in grocery sacks and sorted in boxes. Instead of just loading the box in your vehicle, our volunteers will load the bags and we will be keeping the boxes to re-use for sorting each month. You may bring your own coolers or boxes if you would like for the bags to be placed in.
If you are unable to pick up your boxes personally, you can have someone pick up your box for you.
Please download and print out the Registration and Pick-up Authorization forms, below and send with your Authorized Pick up.
Someone is allowed to pick up for no more than 2 additional households, besides their own.
