The vision of Sacramento Mountains Senior Services, Inc. is to serve the senior citizens residing in the Sacramento Mountains so that they will be able to age in place with dignity and safety. Our mission is to provide services to all seniors in our area; Mayhill, Cloudcroft, High Rolls, Timberon, Sacramento, Pinon, Sunspot, Weed and all areas in between. Our services include, but are not limited to, congregate meals, home delivered meals, homemaker services, and transportation services. These services allow us to attend to our seniors’ nutritional needs through our meal programs, and provide emotional and mental support through congregate settings, homemaker visits, and transportation for shopping, doctor’s visits, and field trips.

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has declared a state of public health emergency in New Mexico as a result of the novel coronavirus disease (also known as COVID-19). In the midst of this unprecedented public health crisis, the negative impact to the economy has caused many individuals and families to suffer severe financial difficulties. The state and private companies have taken measures to mitigate financial hardship and the state is diligently working to identify additional sources of relief and to advocate for a full measure of federal support.

BeWellnm is Mexico’s Health Insurance Exchange. It’s a marketplace where New Mexicans can learn about health insurance, compare plans and get ready to enroll. If you have clients who don’t have health insurance, beWellnm is there to help you get covered. You may be New able to get a health plan through the Exchange if you:
o Live in New Mexico
o Are not covered by an affordable health plan through work
o Are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid
o The deadline for enrollment is Tuesday, December 15th.
